COURSE SYNOPSIS
In the past decade, movement challenges have become one of the earliest diagnosticfeatures of autism spectrum disorder, prompting the initiation of early intervention in manycontexts across the globe. This two day-course combines cutting-edge motor controlliterature and neurobiological research that identifies these motor system impairments inASD with Neuro-Developmental Treatment clinical reasoning and facilitation for intervention. Clinicians will learn to analyze and provide interventions for posture and movementchallenges of ASD from birth to adulthood through an NDT lens. Clinical reasoning andmovement facilitation will be introduced through lecture, videotape analysis, livedemonstration, and practical hands-on labs.
