Helping is Healing and Healing is Possible

The Relationship Matters Team is still feeling the love after last week’s trip to the Westernmost community in all of Canada to visit our friends at White River First Nationand Nelnah Bessie John School in Beaver Creek, Yukon, sponsored by the Yukon First Nation Education Directorate.

Many thanks to all who made this happen, as well as those who met and shared their beautiful hearts with us - the kids at the school, many community members, Quanah Giuseppe VanderMeer (a local genius hip hop artist), and the dedicated staff at the school - Heidi Warren, Ruth Johnny, Hilary Todd (see north_phase), and @Remy Rodden Music and Song, whose music is playing along with this video!

Special thanks to White River First Nation Wellness who sponsored all of the community meals, and a shoutout to Lumel Studios & Lumel Glass (https://www.lumelstudios.com/about-lumel) we happened to come across in Whitehorse, where we met up with two of their team who were participants in our recent Vancouver workshop!

It is an amazing, ever-connected world. This trip reminded us to the core that "Helping is Healing, and Healing is Possible".
